Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a good start into the week.
In the 18th century Apothecaries were often the
only doctors available in a rural community, and they took their supplies with
them in portable apothecary boxes. All herbs and substances were stored in
apothecary jars and drawers. Since ages I
wanted to make such an Apothecary box, and now it's finally finished.
I've created a similar box for my apothecary ~ of Jonathan Marson.

Absolutely stunning.I can't imagine how long it must have taken you to find all the right bottles and vials, signs and other bits and pieces. It looks totally authentic, and I am just so amazed. Congratulations on a real masterpiece.

I am in awe of this creation.
Those bottles are what I keep my eyes peeled for and never have any luck.
The detail is so that I want to sit with this beside me so I can study all the little bits 'n' pieces.

Wow is that not awesome! Really really cool. I could see that on my coffee table - what a conversation piece. I saw the most beautiful cigar boxes yesterday that I should of picked up but if I start one more project in yet one more medium I shall go mad! Although I do love to work on so many different things at one time. You've inspired me to do altered boxes
