Good morning everyone!
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and some fun plans for the week!
Stamping into solder was on my 'to do list' for quite some time.
These are my first attempts...
as always according to the motto learning by doing.
I am quite excited about the possibilities with this technique.
It was fun to experiment with some other ideas.
I made a little booklet with soldered covers.
For the inside pages I've used various freebies.
I've copious quantities of freebies saved on my PC,
but I can't remember where I found these pages.
I must admit, I'm quite pleased with the first results.

Hallo Gaby, ich habe Deine Solder-Beauties bei Dorthe gefunden und sie glänzten dort so schön, dass ich meine Adventsvorbereitungen erstmal wieder sausen gelassen habe, um mir die Schönheiten aus der Nähe zu betrachten. Und es sind Schönheiten! Hut ab! Ich hab auch ein, zweimal versucht, zwei klitzekleine Glasscheiben mit Kupferklebeband zu verlöten. Ich habe Blut und Wasser geschwitzt... Deshalb schätze ich Deine Kunstwerke hier um so mehr! Auch dieses Büchlein ist sagenhaft! Schade, dass Du nicht in der Nähe wohnst! Ich würde Dir die Bude einrennen um einen "Workshop" von Dir zu bekommen!
Ich freue mich, Dich hier heute besucht zu haben!

Completely and utterly glorious, Gaby! I'm absolutely in love. The stamping into solder looks amazing, and I can also see so many possibilities. Your first tiny booklet is charming - the inside pages are just lovely (I also have a computer folder full of freebies, and always forget to use them), and the front and back covers are simply wonderful. How I would love to own one of these. Can't wait to see more...

Wow they're stunning!!! Great result. I'm looking forward to see more with this technique. I love that you made the little booklet, it's so gorgeous and I love handmade books. It's high on my wishlist too, I even bought the equipment for soldering, but first art journaling :) So many things to choose from...
